Wedding Gown
Size 4, Never worn, brand new; Available end of December; White, beaded lace over ivory delustered satin.
Here's the skinny: I ordered this gown because it blew me away. When I held it, the weight of it, the beauty of it blew me away. I felt amazing in it. But, I'm getting married in January (15th!) and there isn't any time to do the alterations I need done. I desperately want to wear a gown with sleeves, so I ordered the "bundle" for this dress, which includes a lace shawl (which was going to be used to make the sleeves), made from the exact same lace of the dress and a purse that matches. Since the dress won't be in until the end of December (even with the rush), I won't be able to make the necessary alterations to make this dress my dress. In the meantime, a friend of the family is designing and making the appropriate dress for me. I would love to send this gorgeous gown onward to a happy bride to be. I love it, it's a beautiful dress, but it isn't my dress.
